Confluence Collective is all about ensuring space for every
body on the water, and connecting with ourselves and each other through our
relationships with nature. Fishing has been a cultural space defined primarily
by and for the able-bodied white cishet male experience, and requires cultural
disruption to ensure safe and welcoming experiences for all; Confluence
Collective organizes community programming, diverse educational opportunities +
resources, and grassroots conservation work through collaborations grounded in
mutuality, sustainability, and intersectional inclusion.
