Modeled after the notoriously popular "Red Baron," I tinkered with countless shades of red over the years and landed on a much darker version that fish seemed to like better out west. This fly is my go-to searching and attractor pattern during the summer and fall, especially when hatches are lacking in the volume of bugs on the surface."
