Geoff has been fly fishing and fly tying since he was five years old. A passionate and accomplished angler and tier, his patterns have been shaped by decades spent on rivers, lakes, and saltwater flats around the world. He began his career as a fly fishing guide in Utah, spending ten years on the pristine waters of the Wasatch Range before moving into roles within leading fly-fishing brands.
In 2021, Geoff founded Heron Outdoors, which now represents Fulling Mill ORVIS, Scientific Anglers, Riversmith, and Bajío Sunglasses across the Midwest and Great Lakes. Despite a busy travel schedule, he still makes time to get his family on the water, chase birds in the field, and sit down at the vise to tie a few flies.
