Jack’s journey in fly fishing began at the age of 13 in his hometown of Vail, Colorado, where he was surrounded by pristine trout waters. What started as a hobby took an unexpected turn when he dove into competitive fly fishing, attending his first Team USA Youth Clinic in North Carolina. Under the guidance of mentors, Jack honed his skills and found himself competing at events like the World Championships in Spain and Vail. Embracing the techniques of euro nymphing and other multi-faceted styles of fishing, Jack discovered a universal approach to trout fishing that’s adaptable to any environment. His dedication saw him rise through the ranks, until he became the youth national champion by 2016. He secured gold and silver team medals at subsequent World Championships. Currently ranked 2nd in the nation, Jack is a member of the Team USA Adult Fly-Fishing Team.
