Spencer HIga began fly fishing at age 10. He grew up in Orem, Utah near the Provo river. His passion for fly fishing led him to work for an Orvis endorsed lodge in Utah in 1996. He started out as a guide and worked his way up until he became the lodge manager. After that, he was the Orvis store manager in Salt Lake City from 2001-2005. In 2014 he started Tacky fly boxes. Spencer has spent a good portion of his life in the fly fishing industry, and continues to enjoy every bit of it. He’s currently loving life working at Fly Fish Food.
