Mayflies are abundant on many trout streams in the US. From tiny blue winged olives to massive green drakes, there is quite a range from region to region. Some of these mayfly species are common on most rivers, whereas others are unique to their area. While you'll always need some special and unique patterns for your local fishery, we put this page together to represent some of the core mayflies we see around the country. If you're nymphing for trout, we have some of our favorite mayfly nymphs. If you're fishing an emergence or duns on the surface, we have both emergers and duns represented as well. And, if you're late in the hatch we have cripples and spinners, too. As a note, many of these patterns are offered in 3-5 sizes or more. Though we only have one size listed per pattern on this page, make sure to search the pattern in our search bar if you're looking for another size!
