This pattern, the Stunt Mouse, is a topwater mouse fly that he's refined over the past number of years while fishing his home waters in Vermont, night fishing in New Zealand, and fishing for huge Migratory brook trout in Canada. It's designed to capture the unique bobbing effect that a natural mouse creates when swimming, and to show the exact profile that a mouse would have. Below are the materials needed to tie this fly.
