Nick Vlahos started fly fishing at the age of 12 after moving to Alpharetta, Georgia, where he received my first fly rod. He started by catching small wild trout while hiking with his parents, but that evolved into a passion for saltwater fishing when he moved to Louisiana. His fly designs are heavily influenced by a combination of conventional fishing techniques and traditional “match the hatch” principles. By combining these two elements, he's designed flies that not only look extremely realistic but fish super effectively too. We're thrilled to have some of Nick's patterns in our collection!
